TCRs have evolved over millions of years to recognize peptides – pieces of proteins - presented on the cell surface in specialized plates called HLA molecules (peptide: HLA complexes (pHLA complexes)).  INTcRON’s TCR based pHLA targeting strategies mimic naturally occurring T cell: pHLA complex interactions.

Disease Drivers

Targeting the drivers of cancer and autoimmunity:

Many drivers of cancer and autoimmunity are intracellular. INTcRON’s approach allows the targeting of these intracellular proteins when their peptide components transiently appear on the cell surface as pHLA complexes. The ability to specifically target these intracellular drivers of tumor growth and autoimmunity opens the door to attack the causative agents of disease.

Leveraging nature:

TCRs are naturally expressed on the cell surface and are difficult to produce in a soluble format.  INTcRON’s  proprietary technologies overcome these challenges, resulting in soluble, scalable therapeutics.
